3 hours of nutbag

http://www.imeem.com/people/wMsUT6C/music/bNpj7Zzd/poker-mix/

here's a little mix that was recorded on traktor pro, fast track pro soundcard, a pair of behringer ms20, a bcf2000 & 2 nut jobs trying to fend off the running clock jinx! loads of vocal trance, progressive blockbusters and a touch of electro-house influenced basslines. enjoy!

tracks for track

what sort of music will you normally associate when it comes to fast cars on track? obviously it would be something that is pretty frantic and packs quite a bit of energy, say something like trance, techno or rockish music. while i'm sitting here compiling some choons on my blackberry, i was suddenly aching to experience exhilarating speed with a sense of calmness. dived into my iTunes and ares for some euphoric yet not in a trancey way and emotive tracks. deep basslines with floaty melodies and synth pads are the favorites in my playlist now, so here goes:
  1. m83 - running into flowers (jackson's midnight fuck remix)
  2. matthew adams - no more, anymore! (elusive remix)
  3. martyn - natural selection
  4. sia - breathe me (ulrich schnauss remix)
  5. christian kleine - disappearing objects
  6. liberto - i am sorry
  7. sigur ros - samskeyti
  8. boards of canada - amo bishop roden
  9. extrawelt - added planet
  10. caribou - niobe
or maybe not! here's for the ravey, strobelights loving inner hermit:
  1. christian smith & john selway - total departure
  2. sia - the girl you lost to cocaine (svd remix)
  3. matteo marini - twin peaks
  4. one+one - no pressure (deadmau5 remix)
  5. christian smith & john selway - move! (gabe & dimitri nakov remix/steve angello remix)
  6. oliver smith - restless (signalrunners remix)
  7. lutzenkirchen - all that jazz (popof remix 01/02)
  8. popof - mr.orange
  9. andre winter - trauma
  10. lee burridge & andy page - why are the pretty ones always insane

trance around the world

hmmm... been listening to loads of trance lately, probably due to the fact that everyone of my driving buddies seem to be a trance head... but still, there were some pretty decent choons that were released on beatport recently that have been floating my boat! so here goes:

  1. komytea - afghanistan
  2. rennie foster - devil's water (reprise)
  3. sasha - coma (dimitri nakov & gabe remix)
  4. jon rundell - dawn raid (sander van doorn remix)
  5. oceanlab - on a good day (above & beyond club mix)
  6. wolfgang gartner - flashback
  7. andread giuliani & luca rossetti - minimario jump
  8. sebastien leger - bad clock (deadmau5 broken clock remix)
  9. kos - its not the end (sam ball remix)
  10. quivver - chasing a feeling

when did it all began?

couldnt sleep again, so it got me thinking when i started having trouble sleeping at night? was it like 2 weeks ago everything started to get fuzzy and messed up? probably it all began with the silly star wars marathon, followed by how i met you mother. would i do it again if i could go back through time? hell yeah! FYI: peer pressure's a bitch! :)
